Privacy Policy

ReplySeq is a Chrome extension built by SeqOrbit that helps you draft replies to your WhatsApp Business customers. We take your privacy — and your customers' privacy — seriously. This page explains, in plain language, exactly what data the extension touches.
What data ReplySeq accesses
- The text of the WhatsApp conversation currently open in your browser tab — used only at the moment you request a draft reply.
- The business profile information you enter during setup: your products or services, prices, timing, and policies.
What ReplySeq does NOT do
- It does not read chats you have not opened.
- It does not access your WhatsApp contacts.
- It does not send messages automatically — you always review and send.
- It does not store your WhatsApp message content on any remote server. Message text is used only for that one draft request and is not retained afterwards.
Where your data is stored
Your business profile is stored locally in your browser using chrome.storage.local. It stays on your device — it is not uploaded to ReplySeq's servers.
Third-party processing
To generate a draft reply, the current message text and your business profile are sent to Anthropic's Claude API (via a secure proxy) for that single request. Anthropic's handling of API data is described in their own privacy policy.
Your control
- You can clear your business profile at any time from the extension settings.
- Uninstalling the extension removes all locally stored data associated with ReplySeq.
